Our long time member, Cedric Pratt, passed away on Thursday 8th September not long after his 90th birthday. Cedric joined HAGSOC on 3rd July 1968 and was a keen researcher at HAGSOC and NLA and a regular attendee at our meetings. He was pleased to be able to attend our Conference in 2013 and Congress in 2015. As many family historians are, Cedric was very keen on visiting cemeteries and, in HAGSOC early days, contributed taped recordings of details of headstones in many small and isolated cemeteries that he visited. We will remember Cedric with fondness and he will be missed.
