Aegean Room, Hellenic Club, Woden

After years of research you’ve a whole swag of names, dates and family trees. Is that all there is to family history? At the heart of the human story is mystery. Why did the ancestors leave home for the furthest place on earth? What do old documents really tell us about the people recorded there? What are the problems in understanding these references to our ancestors?
Put flesh on the bones of your dates and places and see why looking for the ‘possible’ meanings behind those individual events can add life to the stories within your family history.
Surely a great way to celebrate Fathers Day – by discovering more about the generations that got us here. These high calibre speakers might stimulate you to think more deeply about your story.

Morning and Afternoon Tea service provided. An excellent choice of Lunch is available within the Hellenic Club.
